Yin
J puts up with night after night of roasted vegetables and lean protein. Considering his love of burritos and pizza, the man is a saint for never complaining. Once in a while I like to make him a treat to soothe the junk-food loving voice he so frequently ignores for me. The yin in this story comes in the form of Averie’s Ritz Stuffed PB Cups.
I melted 16 oz of dark chocolate chips with 1 Tbsp of coconut oil
Spooned it into 8 muffin liners and put it in the freezer to set up.
Meanwhile, I spread TJ’s PB all over 8 Ritz.
Plob the PB covered Ritz on the hardened chocolate and spoon the rest of the melted chocolate over.
Let it set up in freezer and let J enjoy.
Yang
The yang in this recipe is my version of a snack. I mix egg whites, pumpkin puree, wheat bran, and protein powder up. Bake it and call it a muffin. I’m not leaving a recipe because, honestly, they don’t taste that good. But, heck, they’re high in protein, fiber, and get the job done. If you want to try them … chew on some cardboard. You’ll get the idea. ![]()

Thanks for blogging about them and I wish I could reach through the screen and grab one righ tabout now!
you might be too late – i think j ate them all!

Oh you’re a good girl
Lucky J!
I’m not too keen on cardboard though.. I used to favour polystyrene at kindy many moons ago – maybe this explains a lot as it is kinda highly toxic. Whoops.
ha! viper would probably love these!
